Got a DIN tube fitting on one side and a metric male connection on the other, does this adapter actually bridge those two thread standards in one piece?

That's what it does. One end is M30 x 2.0 for the DIN tube side, and the other end is M22 x 1.5 for the metric male connection. Both sides are male, so you're threading into female ports on each end of your system. One straight steel adapter handles the whole transition without needing an extra coupler in between.

trying to hook a DIN tube line to a metric port, is this the right adapter for that?

For joining those two thread styles, it’s a straight steel adapter that goes from a DIN Tube connection on Side 1 with an M30 x 2.0 male thread (S20 callout) over to a Metric connection on Side 2 with an M22 x 1.5 male thread (22 mm callout).
