flow rate on this one -- is 120 liters per minute the max it'll handle, or is that a continuous rating?

120 liters per minute is the rated flow capacity for this valve. That figure represents what the DGMC2-5 is built to handle in operation, so you'd want to stay at or below that threshold to keep things running right. Pushing past rated flow on a directional control valve tends to cause pressure drop issues and accelerated wear on the sealing surfaces, so treat 120 LPM as your ceiling.
