Just want to make sure, this o-ring fits Eaton Char-Lynn stuff, right?

It does. This o-ring is part of the Eaton Char-Lynn line, now under Danfoss Power Solutions.

got a Char-Lynn motor tore down on the bench right now and need to know if this is the same o-ring that came out of it. part number 8761-145 match up with what Eaton used to sell under their own label?

same part. Eaton Char-Lynn and Danfoss Power Solutions are the same line at this point. Danfoss acquired that product family and the part numbering carried over. The 8761-145 is the Eaton-originated number, and this o-ring is sold under both brand names as a result. If your motor called for it under the Eaton label, this is the correct replacement.
