Product Questions & Answers

This fitting is listed as a male swivel elbow, does the swivel part actually move after installation, or is it fixed once you tighten it down?
Question by: Lance M on Jan 31, 2026, 8:45 AM
Swivel elbows are built so the fitting can rotate during assembly to help you line up your tube run without having to fight the connection into position. Once everything is tightened and torqued down, the swivel is generally locked in place under load. The real benefit is during install, not after, it saves a lot of grief when you're working in a tight spot and can't easily reposition the mating component.

Just want to make sure this elbow fitting will work with my existing 1/2 inch tubing before I order a bunch. Is that right?
Question by: Dwight E on Dec 20, 2025, 2:14 PM
This male swivel elbow is designed to connect directly to 1/2 inch tubing on one end and a 1/2 inch swivel connection on the other.

got a 1/2in tube line and need to turn it 90 degrees, is this the right elbow for that?
Question by: Jerry R on Nov 1, 2025, 7:38 PM
For a 90 degree change in direction with a 1/2 inch tube on one end and a 1/2 inch swivel connection on the other, that is exactly what this male swivel elbow is set up to do. It is the Aignep part number 87110-08-08.
