this the kind of fitting where the tube side stays put but you can still rotate the threaded end after it's assembled?

Swivel fittings work exactly that way. Once the tube is connected, the male threaded end can rotate independently, which makes it a lot easier to thread into a port without twisting up your tubing. Real handy when you're working in a tight spot and can't spin the whole assembly to get it aligned.
