Product Questions & Answers

got a press setup that needs a directional valve, is this DG4V 3 2C M FW G7 the right kind of thing or am i lookin at the wrong style
Question by: Hugh E on Aug 5, 2025, 6:56 AM
Built as a directional control valve with three or four way control, it fits the kind of hydraulic directional flow management you see in press applications. It is also listed for machine tools, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems, so it is aimed at general industrial directional control work.

flow rate on this one's listed at 80 litres per minute, that enough for press work or is it gonna be a bottleneck?
Question by: Stan R on Oct 25, 2025, 6:37 AM
For press applications, 80 litres per minute is a solid flow capacity and this valve is actually rated for exactly that kind of use. Press is listed right alongside die casting, machine tool, and marine environments as a supported application. Whether it bottlenecks your system depends on your circuit design and what else is pulling flow, but the valve itself won't be the weak link for typical press setups.

Can this valve handle the kind of flow rates we see in our paper mill, around 80 liters per minute?
Question by: Janet H on Aug 29, 2025, 12:54 PM
This Vickers valve is rated to handle flow rates up to 80 liters per minute, so it should be suitable for that application.
