flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- that enough for a press application or is it gonna be borderline?

For most press circuits, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. The DG4V-3 series is actually listed as a suitable fit for press applications, so you're not stretching it into territory it wasn't built for. Just make sure your system demand stays within that 80 LPM ceiling and you should be in good shape.
