flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 lpm -- is that enough for a press application or would it be cutting it close?

For press applications, 80 litres per minute is a solid working capacity. The DG4V-3 series is explicitly listed for press use, so it was built with that kind of demand in mind. Whether it's enough depends on your system's actual flow requirements, but the valve is rated and applied in that environment regularly.
