seal material on this thing, is it gonna hold up running hydraulic fluid day in day out on a press line?

Buna-N is a solid general-purpose seal choice for hydraulic fluid service. It handles the kind of continuous exposure you'd see on a press line without breaking down quickly. That said, Buna-N does have limits with certain synthetic or phosphate ester-based fluids, so as long as your system runs standard petroleum-based hydraulic oil you should be in good shape with this valve.
