trying to hook a DIN tube end to a metric male port, is this the right little adapter for that?

For a straight DIN to metric transition, it matches that job. Side 1 is a DIN tube end with an M18 x 1.5 male thread (Size S10), and side 2 is a 16mm metric male thread (M16 x 1.5) with an elastomeric seal for a face seal connection.

Got a DIN tube fitting on one end of my line and need to tie into a metric male thread on the other side, is this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's built for. One side is an M18 x 1.5 male DIN tube end (Size S10) and the other is an M16 x 1.5 metric male thread. The elastomeric seal on the metric side keeps the face seal connection tight so you're not fighting leaks at the joint. At 34.5mm overall length it stays pretty compact, which helps when you're working in a tight spot on the circuit.
