Product Questions & Answers

got a G 1/2 - 14 BSPP port but my hose end is G 3/8 - 19 BSPP. Is this the right bushing to step it down
Question by: Carl J on Nov 20, 2025, 6:09 AM
For a straight thread size reduction, it matches that setup: male G 1/2 - 14 BSPP on one side and female G 3/8 - 19 BSPP on the other. It is meant to adapt between those two BSPP thread sizes in hydraulic and fluid power hookups.

What size threads are on this bushing? I'm needing to reduce down from 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch.

You've got it right. This bushing has a 1/2" male BSPP thread on one side and a 3/8" female BSPP thread on the other, so it'll do exactly what you need.

Got a 1/2 inch BSPP port on a pump housing and need to tie into a 3/8 inch BSPP line. this bushing do that job?
Question by: Frank W on Sep 27, 2025, 3:41 PM
That's what it's built for. The male end threads into your 1/2 inch BSPP port using a G 1/2 - 14 connection, and the female end accepts a G 3/8 - 19 fitting on the smaller line side. Straight configuration, no offset or angle, so it drops right in wherever you need a clean inline reduction between those two thread sizes.
