Product Questions & Answers

got a hose end that’s R 3/4 - 14 BSPT and another port that’s R 1/2 - 14 BSPT. is this the nipple that steps it down between those two
Question by: Neil A on May 29, 2025, 3:11 PM
For stepping between those two BSPT male sizes, yes. This nipple is straight brass with an R 3/4 - 14 male thread on one end and an R 1/2 - 14 male thread on the other, both BSPT.

Will this here nipple work to hook up a 1/2" line to a 3/4" one?

It's designed to do just that, connecting a 1/2" BSPT male end to a 3/4" BSPT male end.

Got a line running 3/4 BSPT on one end and 1/2 BSPT on the other, this the right piece to tie those together?
Question by: Dale H on Jun 15, 2025, 2:01 PM
That's what this nipple is built for. One end is R 3/4 - 14 male BSPT and the other is R 1/2 - 14 male BSPT, so it bridges those two sizes in a single straight fitting. Both sides are male, so you'll need female BSPT ports or couplings on whatever you're connecting it to. Brass construction holds up well in standard hydraulic fluid environments, and BSPT threads seal reliably when properly fitted.
