got a DIN tube fitting on one end and metric male on the other, this adapter cover that kind of transition?

That's what it's built for. One end is a DIN tube connection with an M26 x 1.5 thread (L18 designation), and the other is a metric male M22 x 1.5 thread with an ES seal. Both ends on this fitting are male, so make sure your mating components are female on each side before ordering.

got a DIN tube side that’s M26 x 1.5 (L18). will this adapter screw right onto that and then give me M22 x 1.5 on the other end?
