Does this adapter go between a DIN tube fitting and a metric port, or am I reading the specs wrong?

You're reading it right. One end is an M16 x 1.5 DIN tube connection and the other is an M22 x 1.5 metric male connection. So yeah, it bridges those two thread types in a straight configuration. Steel construction, 34mm overall length, 27mm wrench width. Pretty straightforward fitment for joining DIN and metric lines without any bends or offsets in the line.

Just wanna make sure this will fit – I need an adapter that's M16 x 1.5 on one end and M22 x 1.5 on the other. This one says it is, but wanna double-check.

You're right to check. This adapter does indeed have a M16 x 1.5 DIN tube connection on one side and a M22 x 1.5 metric connection on the other. Should fit your needs perfectly if those are the sizes you need.
