what kind of applications is this pump built for, like can it handle farm equipment and construction machines both?

Variable displacement closed circuit piston pumps in this series cover a pretty wide range of mobile work. Construction equipment, agricultural machinery, trucks and buses, and oil and gas applications are all within scope for the 72400 series. The design is meant to flex across different mobile setups rather than being locked into one industry, so running it on a piece of farm equipment one build and a construction machine the next is exactly the kind of use it was put together for.
