what's the coating on this fitting, and will it hold up running outdoors where moisture gets to it pretty regular?

Dura-Kote plating is applied to the carbon steel body, and that finish is specifically built for corrosion resistance in tough environments. So, this fitting has that Dura-Kote plating, right? How much better is that for rust compared to, say, a regular zinc coating?

Dura-Kote plating gives you way better corrosion resistance than standard zinc. It's made to hold up longer in tough conditions.
