Got a piece of equipment with a BSPP port and the rest of my system runs NPT fittings, will this adapter actually bridge that gap without me having to retool anything?

That's exactly what this fitting handles. One end is a 3/8-18 Female NPT, which threads onto standard NPT-threaded ports or fittings per ANSI B1.20.1. The other end is a 1/4-19 Male BSPP with a 60-degree seat swivel connection, so it mates directly with BSPP-threaded components. No modifications needed on either side, just a straight thread-to-thread conversion between the two standards.
