does this plug work with HTMA couplings or is it only for Hansen setups?

At the 3/8" size, this coupling is interchangeable with HTMA couplings, so you're not locked into one system. It follows the ISO 16028 flat face standard and actually exceeds the pressure ratings that spec calls for. The female end connects via NPT and the male push-to-connect side locks in place with a sleeve lock mechanism. Carbon steel body with NBR+AU seals, so it holds up well across a range of hydraulic fluid types.
