Will this control rod fit my PVH81 pump?

Both models are covered. The part is packaged specifically as a Control Rod for PVH74/81 units, so it fits either one. If you're pulling an old rod off one of those pumps and need a straight replacement, this is the correct part under Eaton Vickers part number 690805.
