Will this fitting work with a standard hydraulic setup?

This fitting has a #16 Male O-Ring Boss thread on one end that conforms to SAE J514 and a #12 Female NPSM Swivel on the other end that conforms to SAE J476. This allows it to connect hydraulic systems using those two different standards.
