Built for straightforward connections, it is an adapter with no adjustable end and none of the add-ons that can complicate an install. There are no check valves, no electrical components, no color coding, no remote control, and no thread sealant included.

Does this adapter come with any thread sealant included, or do I need to bring my own to the job?

No sealant comes with it. Brennan left that out on purpose so you can use whatever sealing method works best for your setup, whether that's PTFE tape, pipe dope, or something else you already have on hand.
