Product Questions & Answers

what's this connector made out of, and will it hold up in a pneumatic system that sees a fair amount of daily use?
Question by: Merle G on Apr 15, 2025, 1:34 PM
Brass construction throughout, so it handles pneumatic and hydraulic service without issue. Eaton Aeroquip put a Dura-Kote plating on it specifically for corrosion resistance, which helps a lot in environments where moisture or contaminants are a regular concern. Rated for use in instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, so steady daily use is exactly what it's built for.

Will this here fitting work alright for hooking up a half-inch hose to a NPT fitting?
Question by: Larry R on Apr 14, 2025, 3:50 PM
This Eaton Aeroquip male connector is indeed designed for that purpose; it's an NPTF male on one end (0.5 inch) and a line/hose/tube female on the other (also 0.5 inch).
