tight spot on a hose run, does this elbow help me turn 90 degrees without a bunch of extra fittings
Question by: Hubert F on Oct 2, 2025, 2:26 PM
For tight routing, the 90 degree elbow body lets you change direction at the connection point, which can help line things up in compact layouts without forcing the hose or tube.

Will this fitting work with a Parker brand hydraulic hose?

This 90-degree elbow adapter features a #8 MJIC to #6 MORB connection, designed for seamless integration within various industrial systems. It should be compatible as long as the hose uses those standard fittings.

Got a tight spot under a manifold where I need to run a JIC line into an ORB port at a right angle, will this fitting handle that kind of setup?
Question by: Roy H on Dec 8, 2025, 4:25 PM
That's exactly the situation this elbow is built for. The 90-degree angle between the #8 MJIC end and the #6 MORB end lets you redirect a hydraulic line cleanly when straight fittings just won't fit. The MORB side threads into a fixed port on the manifold or block, and your JIC hose or tube connects on the other end. Since there's no adjustable swivel on this fitting, the final orientation is set once it's torqued down, so it's worth planning your line routing before you commit.
