got a fitting that's -8 ORS on one end and need to tie into a M22 x 1.5 DIN tube port on the other side, is this the right one?

That's what this fitting does. One end is 13/16-16 UN male ORFS, which is your -8 size, and the other end is M22 x 1.5 male DIN tube. Both ends are male and it runs straight through, no angle to it. Steel construction, 41.1mm in length, 27mm wrench width. If those specs line up with what you're working with, you're looking at the right part.
