Is this fitting gonna work with standard JIC fittings? Just wanna make sure before I order a bunch.

For the JIC side, you'll be needing a female JIC swivel with a 37-degree flare, sized at 1-7/8-12 according to the SAE J514 spec.

Got a 1-1/2 NPTF female port on a manifold block and need to tie into a JIC swivel line, this the right adapter for that situation?

That's the use case this one's built for. One end is a female NPTF thread sized 1-1/2-11-1/2, meeting SAE J476, and the other is a female JIC swivel 37-degree flare at 1-7/8-12, built to SAE J514. So if your manifold has that NPTF port and your hydraulic line terminates in a male JIC fitting, this adapter bridges the two cleanly in a straight configuration.
