got a hose end that’s 7/16-20 JIC swivel, will this adapter let me tie into a 3/8-18 female NPTF port?

Function-wise, it bridges two female ends: one side is a female JIC swivel 37 degree flare in 7/16-20 (SAE J514), and the other side is a female NPTF 3/8-18 (SAE J476). That means it matches those thread standards and sizes, but it does not convert a hose end into a male connection since both ends are female.
