both ends are female ORB on this thing, 7/8-14 on each side? just want to make sure before i order

Correct on both counts. Each end carries a female SAE O-ring boss thread sized at 7/8-14, and both conform to SAE J514. So if you've got a male ORB fitting on each component you're connecting, this straight adapter will bridge them without any thread mismatch.
