trying to step down from a 2-1/2-12 ORB port to a 1-5/16-12 ORB, is that what this reducer does?

For a straight size reduction between SAE O-ring boss threads, it matches that setup. One side is a male SAE ORB with 2-1/2-12 threads, and the other side is a female SAE ORB with 1-5/16-12 threads, both to SAE J514.
