What’s the deal with that O-ring? Is it something special I need to worry about replacing?

The NBR O-ring is there to make sure you get a good, reliable seal. While NBR is a common material, keep an eye on it during maintenance to ensure it hasn't degraded. If it's damaged, replace it with one of the same spec to maintain that seal.
