what's the thread setup on this fitting -- one end ORB and the other NPTF, or am I reading that wrong?

You're reading it right. The female end is a 1-1/16-12 SAE O-Ring Boss port, built to SAE J514. The male end is a 1/2-14 NPTF, built to SAE J476. So yeah, it bridges those two thread standards in one straight fitting, which comes in handy when you're connecting an ORB port on a valve or manifold to pipe-threaded hardware on the other side.

Just want to make sure this will fit... I've got a female SAE O-ring boss and need to adapt it to a male NPTF. Will this do the trick?
