Thread on one end is 1/2-20 ORB female and the other's 3/8-18 NPTF male -- that right? Just wanna make sure before I go pulling lines apart on this machine.

That's what you've got. The female end is a 1/2-20 SAE O-Ring Boss conforming to SAE J514, and the male end is a 3/8-18 NPTF per SAE J476. Brennan's part number on this one is 6404-05-06, so as long as your ports match those thread sizes and types, you're good to go.

got a valve block with a 1/2-20 ORB port. is this the piece that’ll adapt it over to 3/8-18 pipe thread?
