fitting has a 1/2-20 female SAE O-ring Boss on one end and 1/8-27 male NPTF on the other -- that right? just want to make sure before i order a handful of these

Both threads are correct. The B1 end is a 1/2-20 female SAE O-ring Boss per SAE J514, and the B2 end is a 1/8-27 male NPTF per SAE J476. That combination makes it a straight adapter that bridges those two thread types in a single body, no extra pieces needed.
