Got a port on my hydraulic manifold that's 1-5/16-12 ORB and I need to run a JIC line off it, this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's for. One end is a 7/8-14 Male JIC 37-degree flare and the other is a 1-5/16-12 Male SAE O-Ring Boss, so it'll bridge those two thread types in a straight-line connection. Both threads conform to SAE J514, and the NBR o-ring on the ORB end handles the sealing. As long as your system runs standard petroleum-based hydraulic fluid and stays under 4,000 PSI dynamic pressure, this adapter fits the bill.

got a hose end that’s 7/8-14 JIC male and i need to go into a 1-5/16-12 ORB port. is that what this adapter does

For tying a 7/8-14 male JIC 37 degree flare connection to a 1-5/16-12 male SAE O-Ring Boss connection, this is the straight adapter built for that job. Both ends are SAE J514, and the ORB side seals with an NBR O-ring.
