trying to hook a jic 37 flare line to an o-ring boss port, is that what this adapter does?

Function-wise, it’s a straight steel adapter that joins a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one end (Thread B1) to a male SAE O-ring boss on the other end (Thread B2), both built to SAE J514.
