i’ve got a hose end that’s 7/16-20 JIC, will this adapter mate up to it and still seal right?

On the JIC side, you are getting a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare with 7/16-20 threads, built to SAE J514. The other end is a male SAE O-ring boss, also 7/16-20, and it seals with an NBR O-ring on that ORB side.

Got a port on my manifold that's SAE O-ring boss and the hose end I'm working with has a JIC 37-degree flare fitting, will this adapter bridge that gap?

Yeah, that's exactly what this one's built for. One end is a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare and the other is a male SAE O-ring boss, both threaded at 7/16-20. So if your manifold port accepts a male ORB and your hose assembly terminates in a female JIC swivel, you'd be set. Both ends conform to SAE J514, and the NBR o-ring on the ORB side handles the sealing. Rated up to 6,000 PSI, so it holds up in most high-pressure hydraulic lines without issue.
