clamp says 7/16" to 1" range, does that mean it'll work on something like a 3/4" hose without any issues gettin a snug fit?

3/4" falls right in the middle of that range, so you'll have plenty of band adjustment on either side to get a solid, secure fit. The smooth adjustable band is built to tighten evenly across that whole span, so you shouldn't have any trouble cinching it down on a 3/4" hose without gaps or slippage.

got a hose that measures right around 3/4 inch, will this clamp cover that or am i in between sizes

The key detail is the adjustment range. This stainless gear clamp is made to tighten down on hose outside diameters from 7/16 inch up to 1 inch, so a hose around 3/4 inch falls inside that range.
