Product Questions & Answers

Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees pretty consistent use, or is it more for lighter duty stuff?

Constructed from robust steel, this 90° elbow fitting is designed for demanding hydraulic applications where reliability and precision are paramount.

got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 ORFS on one side and i need to swing over to a metric male, is this the right elbow?
Question by: Howard J on Aug 29, 2025, 10:55 AM
For that combo, it matches up. Side 1 is a male ORFS with a 9/16-18 UNF thread and it is called out as 1/4 inch size. Side 2 is a metric male M12 x 1.5, listed as 12 mm.

trying to figure out if this'll work for my setup, got a 9/16-18 UNF ORFS port on one end and need to tie into a metric M12 x 1.5 line. this the right fitting for that?
Question by: Keith S on Feb 12, 2026, 8:17 AM
Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting does. One side is male ORFS with a 9/16-18 UNF thread, and the other side is a male metric connection with an M12 x 1.5 thread. The 90 degree elbow shape lets you change direction between those two connections, so if your hydraulic connections runs those two thread types at a right angle to each other, this fitting bridges them cleanly.
