Got a piece of equipment that's got both metric and inch-series fittings mixed together, will this adapter actually bridge those two without needing anything extra on the metric end to seal it up?

The metric side on this one is a sealed design, so no separate sealing washer is needed. The M22 x 1.5 thread handles the seal on its own, and the other end connects to a 5/8" Male ORFS fitting running 1-14 UNS thread. It's a straight adapter, steel construction, so you're getting a direct male-to-male connection between those two thread standards in one compact piece.
