trying to match up an adapter i pulled off a hose, one side is 1-14 UNS ORFS and the other is M18x1.5. is that what this one is?

For a straight steel adapter with those exact thread callouts, yes. Side 1 is Male ORFS with a 1 - 14 UNS thread and a 5/8 inch size, and Side 2 is Male metric sealed with an M18 x 1.5 thread and an 18 mm size.
