got a metric port on my pump that's M18 x 1.5 and need to tie into an ORFS line, this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's built for. One end is 13/16-16 UN male ORFS, which covers a 1/2" ORFS connection, and the other end is M18 x 1.5 male metric. Steel construction, straight configuration, so it'll drop right in between those two fittings without any fuss.
