Product Questions & Answers

trying to hook a 3/8 ORFS line to a metric port, is this the right adapter or am i off a size
Question by: Tommy R on Oct 5, 2025, 9:30 AM
The ends are 3/8 inch male ORFS (11/16-16 UN thread) on one side and M16 x 1.5 male metric on the other. If those are the two thread callouts you need to connect, this straight steel adapter is the correct match.

Will this fitting hold up alright in a hydraulic system running around 3000 PSI?
Question by: Kurt W on Oct 8, 2025, 8:55 PM
It's made from robust steel, which should provide the durability needed for demanding hydraulic environments.

Got a hydraulic line coming off a European-built piece of equipment with an M16 x 1.5 metric port, and I need to tie into a system running ORFS fittings. This adapter gonna work for that kind of hookup?
Question by: Darryl R on Nov 10, 2025, 8:00 PM
That's exactly the application this fitting is built for. One end carries a 3/8" male ORFS thread (11/16-16 UN) and the other end is M16 x 1.5 male metric, so it bridges those two thread standards in a single straight adapter. Both ends are male, so make sure your mating ports are female on each side before ordering. Steel construction holds up well in working hydraulic environments.
