trying to swap a fitting on a machine and i need 3/4 male ORFS on one end and 1/2 male BSPP on the other, both at 90 degrees. is that what this is?

For mixed-thread hydraulic setups, this elbow is exactly that combination: a 3/4 inch male ORFS end with 1-13/16-12 UN threads, and a 1/2 inch male BSPP end with G 1/2-14 threads, in a 90 degree elbow shape.

Got a machine running both SAE and British fittings and need to tie into a 1/2" BSPP port with a 3/4" ORFS line at a right angle. This the fitting that'll do that?

Yeah, that's exactly what this one's built for. One end is a 3/4" Male ORFS with a 1-13/16-12 UN thread, the other is a 1/2" Male BSPP running G 1/2-14. The 90-degree angle handles the direction change, and since both sides are male, you're threading into female ports on your existing components.
