Product Questions & Answers

Got a hose end that’s 1/2 ORFS male, will this adapter match up thread-wise?
Question by: Pete E on Dec 21, 2025, 5:38 PM
For the ORFS side, it uses a 13/16-16 UN male thread and is called out as a 1/2 inch ORFS male connection, so it matches the standard 1/2 ORFS male thread size.

Got a machine running BSPP fittings on the hydraulic block and need to tie into a line that's got ORFS ends on it. This straight adapter do the trick for that kind of swap?
Question by: Janet M on Mar 29, 2026, 6:35 PM
Exactly that kind of crossover is what this part is built for. One end is a 1/2" Male ORFS with a 13/16-16 UN thread, and the other is a 1/2" Male BSPP with a G 1/2-14 thread. Both sides are male, so you'd be threading each end into female ports on your existing components. Steel construction keeps it solid under the stress of industrial hydraulic work, and the ORFS face seal side helps keep the connection leak-resistant. Straight profile, no offset or angle to account for.

Will this here fitting work to connect a ORFS fitting to a BSPP one?
Question by: Darryl M on Mar 23, 2026, 6:43 PM
Absolutely, this adapter is designed to connect a male ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) to a male BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) fitting.
