got a hose end that’s M36 x 2.0 DIN, and i need to go into a 1 inch NPT port. Is this the right adapter?

It bridges exactly that combo. One side is a male M36 x 2.0 DIN tube connection (size L28), and the other side is a 1 inch male NPTF thread with a 1 - 11.5 callout.

That's what this one's built for. One end is M36 X 2.0 DIN tube, male, sized at L28. The other end is 1 inch male NPT with a 1-11.5 NPTF thread callout. Straight body, no offsets or angles to account for. Steel construction, so it'll hold up in a working hydraulic environment without much fuss.
