What's this seal made out of, and is that gonna hold up in a hydraulic setup that runs pretty hot?

Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, or HNBR, is the material used here. Compared to standard nitrile rubber, HNBR handles heat and chemical exposure better, which makes it a solid choice for hydraulic environments where temperatures and fluid conditions can get demanding.
