got a harvester that’s picky about flow, is this MRV2-10 valve the kind that just restricts flow or is it doing something else too
Question by: Carl D on Aug 23, 2025, 6:17 PM
As a flow restrictor in the MRV2-10 series, it is used to control flow in a hydraulic circuit by restricting it. It fits the flow control valve category and is commonly used on equipment like harvesters, refuse haulers, and other mobile or industrial setups.

valve's rated up to 5000 psi right? trying to figure out if it'll hold up on our refuse hauler without having to swap it out every season
Question by: Lyle A on Dec 9, 2025, 12:25 PM
Rated at 350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, so it fits right in with the pressure demands you'd typically see on refuse hauler hydraulics. Flow capacity tops out at 350 liters per minute, or about 92 US gallons per minute. That combination covers most mobile applications in that class without much trouble.

what kind of equipment is this valve typically used on? trying to figure out if it'd work for a refuse hauler setup we got
Question by: Cody M on Aug 24, 2025, 10:21 AM
Refuse haulers are actually one of the listed applications for this valve, along with harvesters and other mobile and industrial equipment. The MRV2-10 is built to handle demanding duty cycles, so it fits right in with that kind of work.
