these check valves rated high enough to run on refuse haulers and harvest equipment, or is that pushing it?

Both of those applications are right in the wheelhouse for this valve. Refuse haulers and harvesters are specifically called out as intended uses, and the pressure rating tops out at 350 bar (5000 psi) with flow capacity up to 227 liters per minute (60 USgpm). That's a solid range for the kind of demanding mobile hydraulic work those machines put valves through.
