runs on 24 volt, right? just want to confirm before i order a replacement for the one on our refuse hauler

Yes, 24VDC is correct for this valve. It's a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve, so when the coil is not energized it stays closed, and energizing it at 24 volts opens flow. That normally closed behavior is worth knowing before you swap it in, just to make sure it matches how your system is wired to operate.
