Designed for applications like machine tools, this proportional valve can certainly handle continuous duty cycles. Just make sure your flow rate stays within its 70 liter per minute spec.

fluorocarbon seals on this one, does that mean it'll hold up alright in higher-temp hydraulic fluid environments or is that more of a chemical resistance thing

Fluorocarbon seals cover both bases to a degree. They handle elevated temperatures better than standard nitrile and they resist a wider range of hydraulic fluids, including those with aggressive additive packages. For applications running hotter fluid or using fluid types that tend to eat through softer seal materials, fluorocarbon is the right call. It's one of the reasons this seal choice shows up in demanding industrial settings like press and foundry work.
