does this plug work with standard ISO series A couplings or is it specific to the Hansen 5600 line?
Question by: Shane M on Sep 3, 2025, 9:25 AM
The 5610-8-10S is certified to ISO 7241-1 Series A, so it will mate with any coupling body that meets that same standard. The 5600 Series follows that spec, and other brands built to ISO 7241-1 Series A should accept it as well. The ball lock mechanism is what handles the connection, so as long as the mating half is Series A compliant at the 3/4 port size, you're in good shape.

got a 3/4 port on my setup. is this the male half with the SAE ORB end, or am i lookin at the wrong one
Question by: Carl F on Sep 26, 2025, 2:36 PM
This part is the male half of a quick disconnect coupling with a 3/4 inch port size and an SAE ORB end on one side. The other side is a push-to-connect style with a ball lock internal connection.

Will this Eaton fitting work with hydraulic fluid in my tractor?

This coupling is designed for hydraulic fluid transfer, so it should work just fine in your tractor's hydraulic system.

does this plug work with SAE ORB ports, or do i need some kind of adapter to hook it up?
Question by: Hubert K on Apr 29, 2025, 6:56 AM
SAE ORB is the port type on the female end of this coupling, so if your system already runs SAE O-ring Boss ports at 3/4 inch, it threads right in without any adapter in between. The male half connects via push-to-connect with a ball lock, so once the port side is matched up, connection on the other end is straightforward. No special tools required to make or break the connection.
